Friday Fuel
It’s Friday, so let’s get the important stuff out of the way.
Margaritas:
Everyone does this their own way, but this is our favorite. (Ie. my wife is a genius).
1 Minute Maid Limeade
1 Beer of your Choice (I like light beers myself but go nuts batman).
Orange Juice.
TEQUILA. Big Casamigos guy, but do your wurst.
Limes.
(If you’ve never done this before this is what you are looking for) ⬇️
In a large bowl sling that dude-frozen Minute Maid limeade in there, then add the can of beer. Bottle of beer. Whatever.
We use the empty limeade (reference above) Container as a measuring tool for the rest of this stuffs.
Fill it to the brim with tequila. Insert, said glory into the bowl.
I do about half filled for the OJ, but hey there are no rules here.
STIR THAT THANG! Use one of those metal kitchen stir deals to do so.
Squeeze in a half a lime and we’re off to the races. Cheers nerds.
Woof, now that we have the difficult work done we can finally move on to the rest of the world.

FILMAGE (the good stuff)
Gladiator II
My wife and I watched this film last night. I initially saw it in the theater, and it was her first time.
Frankly, I thought it was awesome. If you’re into that sort of thing.
Critics have expressed mixed sentiments. Some appreciate the film's dynamic filmmaking and solid performances, while others feel it doesn't quite capture the emotional engagement of the original.
I think that visually, "Gladiator II" delivers the spectacle audiences anticipated, with well crafted battle sequences and impressive set designs that transport viewers back to ancient Rome. The arena scenes are particularly dope.
Some have argued that the film grapples with stepping out from its predecessor's shadow. While the original "Gladiator" might have been a lot of personal vendetta with political intrigue, the sequel often leans heavily on the action. But isn’t that what Gladiator fans wanted? I’m not sure I could have expected another Maximus. No one comes close. So I was just fine with the gnarly fights in the arena and well done special effects. 4 stars from me.

-with Andrew Wilkinson - “Designing Your Digital Mind: Charlie Grinnell’s AI Journaling System” - November 11th, 2024
While AI is, to most of us, forever interesting… What I’m most interested in is the future of “AI Agents”. It’s one thing to use an AI software on its own. Integrating an AI assistant throughout your daily life that pays attention to and understands all the things you need done though? That is next level. And I think that is where we are headed, if not there already.
-Fiction Podcasting
I’m going to continue to give great recommendations in the Fiction Space. If it’s not your thing, welp.

WRITING LIFE
I like Screenwriting.
Entering the screenwriting industry is notoriously friggin hard. The market is highly competitive, with countless aspiring writers vying for limited opportunities. Success often requires not only exceptional talent but also persistence, networking, and a bit of luck.
People face years of rejection before achieving a breakthrough.

Even after selling a script, the financial rewards can be modest, and consistent income is rare.
