Buffalo Chicken Dip
When it comes to parties in the pantalones, nothing brings people together like a bowl of irresistibly spicy, creamy dip. The tried-and-true Buffalo Chicken Dip—a crowd-pleaser that’s perfect whether you’re watching the game or catching up with friends.
Ingredients
• 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
• 8 oz cream cheese, softened
• ½ cup Buffalo wing sauce (Frank’s RedHot is a popular choice)
• ½ cup ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing, if you prefer)
• 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
• Optional: ½ cup blue cheese crumbles
• Garnish: Chopped green onions
• Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat and Prepare:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Mix the Base:
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Buffalo wing sauce, and ranch dressing. Beat until smooth.
3. Add Chicken and Cheese:
Stir in the shredded chicken and half of the shredded cheddar. If using, mix in the blue cheese crumbles. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Bake to Perfection:
Transfer the mixture into a lightly greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese evenly over the top. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
5. Eat Dat Shizz.
We like to use Fritos Scoops with this.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle chopped green onions over the top.
